Lola von der Gracht exhibits a self-portrait showing the middle finger surrounded by protest-buttons of the LGBTQ+ movement.
Protest pins are small but significant objects that play a role in social and political movements. Worn on clothing or bags, they carry messages, symbols, or slogans to highlight important issues. Since the 1960s, they have been used worldwi-de to support various causes, from civil rights to environmental protection. Beyond being a form of expression, protest pins also serve as historical markers, commemorating key events and social struggles.
